Dan Williams is a highly talented and passionate chef who has transformed the ‘dining experience’ at the Oxwich Bay since his first appointment as Head Chef in April 2013 to become one of the best restaurants in Swansea.

Just 29 years old, but already with over 10 years experience in some of the best restaurants in the Swansea area, Dan has swiftly worked his way up through the kitchen ranks. In 2009 he was one of only 6 chefs to be part of the Welsh food scholarship, and shortly afterwards he was a ‘Junior Chef of Wales’ finalist. He also regularly appears on S4C’s ‘Prynhawn Da’ cooking segment where he shares recipes and cooking advice.

Dan has an incredible zeal and commitment for his vocation. Constantly experimenting and seeking to challenge himself, he nevertheless remains true to his roots, and the emphasis he places on using the finest, local produce reflects his enduring love of Welsh food.
