Whether you’re planning a wedding, family celebration, corporate retreat, wellness getaway, birthday, Christmas gathering or simply an unforgettable few days together as an extended family, our beachfront hotel provides the perfect setting for bringing people together.
Your Private Hire includes use of the hotel’s Café Bar, Restaurant and beautiful grounds, alongside 12 guest rooms accommodating up to 22 guests. For larger groups, additional accommodation can also be arranged, allowing even more friends, family or colleagues to stay together.
Whether you’re seeking adventure, relaxation or a little of both, the Gower Peninsula offers unforgettable experiences right on the hotel’s doorstep.

Originally built in 1788 as the rectory for neighbouring St Illtyd’s Church, the Old Rectory sits at the heart of Oxwich Bay Hotel and is exclusively yours during your Private Hire. The medieval church itself dates back to the 12th century and remains a wonderful part of Oxwich’s history, welcoming visitors daily.
Full of character, the hotel’s 12 individually appointed bedrooms combine original wooden beams, period features and cosy coastal charm with modern comforts. A selection of rooms enjoy beautiful views across Oxwich Bay, plush beds and whirlpool baths.
Downstairs, inviting lounges with sea views and three log fires provide cosy spaces to gather together, catch up over a drink or simply watch the changing view across the bay.
